If the option says “Contact To Book, there may be a special circumstance around the booking. Just give us a call or email and we will help you with the booking.

Welcome To Providence Therapy!
Free Discovery Call | Provider Matching
At Providence Therapy, we’re here to support you every step of the way. Enjoy a complimentary, 20 minute phone call with our Client Care Coordinator, where we’ll listen closely to your concerns and thoughtfully guide you toward the therapist or Brain Bar provider best aligned with your healing goals.
Free 20 Minute Provider Consultation Phone or Video Call (Required Before Booking)
Choosing a provider is an important decision! That’s why we ask you to schedule a free 20-minute consultation call before setting up any appointments. This call gives you a chance to connect directly with the therapist or brain bar provider you’re interested in, so you can ask questions and see if it feels like a good fit. During the conversation, the therapist or brain bar provider will listen to your concerns and explain what you can expect from the sessions. We believe a strong connection is key, and this initial chat helps make sure our approach matches what you’re looking for. It’s also an opportunity for us to determine how we can best support you.
Don't forget to double-check if the clinician you are choosing offers the service you are looking for. If in doubt, book a discovery call for some extra help for our client care team.
**Note:** Many therapists have full practices. Please check their profile for the most current availability and to see if they are accepting new clients. If a counsellor you’re interested in doesn’t offer consultation times, it likely means their practice is currently closed to new clients.

TRE (Trauma/Stress Release Exercises) Somatic Release
TRE is a gentle, body-based technique designed to help release deep tension, stress or trauma stored in the body from accumulative or singular overwhelming experiences. By activating the natural neurogenic tremor response in a controlled setting, TRE supports your body’s ability to metabolize, complete and reset your stress response, promoting emotional and physiological balance and calm. Our certified TRE Providers will guide you through this safe and accessible process, helping you reconnect with your body and reduce stress in a natural way. While TRE sessions can be facilitated online for experienced clients, all new clients are invited to begin with an in-person session to safely explore the shaking process before transitioning to online sessions.

🎨 Art Therapy
Art Therapy is the combination of psychotherapy and the expressiveness of the arts. Through art making, individuals are invited to express their feelings and give voice to their inner conflicts with the therapist as their support and guide. Various mediums and art materials are used depending on the client's needs and desires. Colour, texture, form, line, and symbol are ways to express what we don't have the words for. Art Therapy is an invitation to explore and work through the things that are keeping us from wholeness.
**Please note, Providence Therapy cannot guarantee coverage or reimbursement for client sessions through third-party insurance providers. It is the client’s responsibility to verify with their insurance company whether this style of service and type of service provider are covered under their plan prior to treatment.**
As many of our clinicians run full practices, subsequent visits are reserved for current clients to guarantee space. If this is your first visit, or it's been over 6 months since your last visit, please review your therapist's most up-to-date availability on their profile at www.providencetherapybc.com/about or reach out to set up a consultation to determine if there's room in your therapist's current practice.
